What are gymnasts looking for in a leotard?

The first and probably the most critical thing a gymnasts wants in a leotard is quality. We all know these leotards take a lot of punishment. Every leotard needs to stand up to the rigors of a workout which might only be an hour for a beginner, but over five hours for team girls. This is the reason we limit our select of brands until we feel confident the garments will hold up. GK Elite Sportswear has a great reputation, and they were the first brand we carried way back, but GK Elite does not allow retailers to sell online. Too bad for our loyal customers, but...we have also been carrying Alpha Factor Aerials for many many years also. Over time we added Motionwear gymnastics leotards, Eurotard dancewear, Look-It and a few others. So, aside from quality, what are our site visitors looking for? A review of the site searches our visitors perform shows:

• Fuchsia and Purple are the most popular colors
• Animal prints as a category are very popular (leopard and zebra especially)
• Alpha Factor's style PS1146 Pride White Cracked Glass was by far the most popular specific style customers searched for recently
• Followed by Alpha Factor's PS1164 Fashion Diva (now sold out)
• The most popular brand search is Alpha Factor (due mainly to the above two styles), followed by Look-It and Motionwear which were pretty much tied for second place.

"Gymnastics Leotards" has always been the most popular search term, but this search will produce too many results to be useful. When looking for your leotards, use search terms which can narrow down the results you see. If you want a child's leopard leotard, type LEOPARD into the search box. If you type CHILD or LEOTARD you will likely see many unwanted responses because it will search for everything referenced as either, whether it is leopard print or not.
